She is running for Judge to serve with fairness, preparation, and respect for therule of law.

A Foundation of Knowledge & Experience

Lindy has dedicated her legal career to serving the people of the 21st Judicial District in a variety of roles that have given her a comprehensive understanding of both the courtroom and the community it serves.

She began her career as a victims’ advocate with the District Attorney’s Office, assisting individuals and families navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She later served as a public defender, protecting constitutional rights and handling matters through trial.

In private practice, Lindy represented clients in both civil and criminal cases, gaining firsthand experience in the practical and personal impact of court decisions.

Most recently, Lindy served as a staff attorney within the 21st Judicial District Court, conducting legal research, drafting judicial opinions, and supporting court operations. Working inside the Court provided her with a deep understanding of judicial procedure, case management, and the responsibility that comes with the bench.

Leadership & Professional Distinction

Lindy previously served as President of the Florida Parishes Inns of Court and as a board member of Child Advocacy Services.

She has been qualified to represent children under Louisiana Supreme Court Part J, Rule XXXV, a distinction held by fewer than 100 attorneys statewide.
She has completed the extensive education and training standards prescribed by Louisiana law (La. R.S. 9:334) for mediator qualification.
Lindy presents continuing legal education programs and volunteers as a mock trial judge at LSU Law, assisting in training the next generation of attorneys. She has also participated in youth leadership simulations for local high school students, helping educate young people about real-world legal consequences and responsible decision-making.

PRINCIPLES THAT GUIDE HER SERVICE (JUDICIAL PRIORITIES)

Fair and Impartial Application of the Law

‍Every person who enters the courtroom deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Judicial decisions must be grounded in the Constitution and Louisiana law — not personal preference.

Efficient Court Administration

‍Justice delayed can impact families and businesses in meaningful ways. The Court should operate efficiently while ensuring every case receives careful consideration.

Respect for the Legal Process

‍Attorneys, litigants, jurors, and court staff all play essential roles in the administration of justice. Maintaining professionalism and order in the courtroom ensures confidence in the system.

Commitment to Stability

‍Strong courts contribute to stable families and economic confidence. Judicial leadership should reflect that responsibility.

COMMUNITY & COMMITMENT

‍Lindy is actively engaged in her local community.

She serves on the Loranger Elementary PTO and is a member of Tangipahoa Professional Women, Livingston Parish Republican Women, and the Louisiana Liberty Belles.

Lindy and her family attend First Baptist Church of Amite.

They are proud to call the 21st Judicial District home and remain deeply invested in the strength and stability of this community.

A Heart for Justice and a Dedication to Families

“I am ready to be your judge. My experience as an attorney, a wife, a mother, and a community leader have prepared me for this next opportunity. As our judge, I can be trusted to be compassionate but firm and fair for families in our community who need justice. I’ll do the hard work, and I’ll do it right.”
